Passed
inspection - Can you believe it! The holidays are over and we
are in the new year. We have almost completed the remodeling project
and have obtained our certificate of occupancy from the city of
Irving. We are working with the landlord to have a sign
installed. Thank you for your patience and we hope you will enjoy
the facility as we move forward.
I’m trying to find one of our girls. She’s
wearing her school uniform and hiding somewhere!
Open Gym - Classes at AGYM started Friday,
January 2. There are a few changes in effect in 2004. Instead
of Fun-Nite each Friday we have scheduled Late-Nite Fridays on the first
and third Friday of each month from 7 to 11 p.m. The cost for the
evening is still $20 which includes pizza, drinks, and goodies. You
may also attend on a $5 per hour rate. Our first Late-Nite Friday
was on January 2.
Skill level analysis - We understand how
important it is for your children to receive quality gymnastic
training. Now that the remodeling project is largely behind us, we
can begin focusing on improving our training skills and implementing
processes that will enable us to better serve you. Our staff is
working on processes, which will accurately identify and place each child
in the appropriate skill level. Your child will be evaluated to see
which skills have been mastered and which need additional work. A
complete set of charts will be setup enabling our staff to properly
monitor each child, and progressively develop skills for the next skill
level.
Ducks
in a row! – Three cuties are forming a line during Ms. Liza’s
Wednesday morning Tiny Tot class.
Gray duct tape be gone - I’m sure none of you
have noticed the strip of gray duct tape down the middle of the tumble
floor. Yes, it does look tacky but there is good news. We are
in the process of ordering new carpet for the tumble floor. It
should be installed during the first quarter of this year. Little by
little we will get our Gym looking first rate!
